A boiler and exposed pipework can make a kitchen corner look unfinished—especially when it sits right next to the worktop and window. For this project, the goal was to tidy the area with a clean MDF boxing, while still keeping the boiler and pipework accessible for future servicing.
The brief
- Box in the boiler area to make the corner look neat and tidy
- Keep everything aligned with the worktop/window area
- Build it in a way that still allows maintenance access
- Leave the finish ready for painting (customer will paint themselves)

The boxing was designed with servicing in mind: a hinged door for the boiler and a removable lower panel to access the pipework.
Cupboard-style access door allows the boiler to be serviced easily.
