This living room refurbishment project involved a full refresh of the space, including wallpapering, painting, brick infill repair work, plastering, new laminate flooring and spray finishing for the fireplace and surround.
One of the key parts of this project was repairing the damaged wall area below the window. This section required brick infill work before it could be properly plastered, prepared and blended back into the rest of the room. Once the repair work was completed, the surface was finished and made ready for decoration.
The refurbishment also included wallpapering and painting to give the room a cleaner and more modern appearance. At the same time, the old floor was removed and replaced with new laminate flooring, helping to transform the overall look of the room.
To achieve a neater and more durable finish, the fireplace unit was taken back to the workshop for spray painting before being reinstalled. This helped improve the final appearance and gave the fireplace feature a cleaner finish to match the refurbished room.
The finished result brought the whole space together, with improved wall finishes, a refreshed fireplace area and new laminate flooring completing the transformation.
