This project focused on upgrading the existing media wall by adding four new cupboard doors to the lower section, turning the open space into a more practical and tidy storage area.
Originally, the area beside the fireplace had open lower shelving, which left the storage section exposed. The customer wanted a cleaner and more useful finish, so the lower part of the media wall was redesigned to create enclosed storage with four new cupboard doors.
The work involved forming the new lower storage sections, fitting the cupboard structure and preparing everything so the finished design would blend naturally with the existing media wall and shelving. The aim was to improve both the appearance and the practicality of the room without changing the whole layout.
Once completed, the updated media wall kept the original shelving feature while adding much more usable hidden storage below. The new cupboard doors gave the whole fireplace wall a neater and more balanced look, while making everyday storage much easier.
