This bespoke under-stairs wardrobe was designed to transform an unused area into practical storage space. The goal was to maximise the available space beneath the staircase while keeping the design clean and simple.
The wardrobe was divided into four sections, including hanging space for clothes and shelving for shoes and daily items. The internal layout was customised based on the client’s needs to ensure the space is both functional and easy to use.
The cabinets were constructed using plywood for durability and stability. The units were pre-built in the workshop and then assembled on-site to ensure accurate fitting to the staircase angle.
The main cabinet units were pre-made in the workshop and then assembled and adjusted on-site for a better fit. The door frames and doors were made to suit the actual staircase shape and space, followed by paint finishing.
Spaces like this are often underused, but with the right design, they can become very useful storage areas and make the home look much tidier.
