This project involved boxing in exposed radiator pipework and repairing a damaged skirting board to improve the overall appearance of the area.
Before the work was carried out, the pipework beneath the radiator was exposed and the original skirting board had suffered visible damage and deterioration. This left the area looking untidy and unfinished.
To resolve the issue, a custom pipe boxing was installed beneath the radiator to neatly conceal the pipework while maintaining a clean and practical finish. The damaged skirting section was also repaired to restore the appearance of the wall base and create a more seamless result.
One of the key features of this design is that the boxing was made to be easily opened when needed. This means the pipework can still be accessed for inspection, maintenance or future repairs without having to damage or remove the whole structure. It provides a much neater look while still keeping the area practical and serviceable.
Once completed, the area looked significantly cleaner, more modern and much better finished. Small details like this can make a big difference to the overall presentation of a room, especially in kitchens and other frequently used spaces.
