🔧 Project Overview
This project involved installing laminate flooring on a staircase and multiple landings in a U-shaped layout.
The customer had already removed the old flooring and supplied the new laminate, and wanted a clean, modern finish similar to a previous project I completed.
🏚 Before
The original floorboards were exposed and uneven in places, especially around the stairs and transitions between rooms.
Extra preparation was needed to ensure a solid and level base before installing the new laminate.

⚒️ Work Process
The work included:
- Preparing and cleaning the subfloor
- Planning layout for a U-shaped staircase and landings
- Precise cutting around multiple doorways
- Installing laminate flooring across stairs and platforms
- Fitting stair nosing and threshold trims
- Repairing gaps using expanding foam and finishing the surface
Due to the layout, this was a detail-heavy installation requiring careful alignment and finishing.

The finished result is a clean, modern staircase and landing area with smooth transitions and durable edges.
All trims were fitted neatly to ensure long-term durability and a professional appearance.
